Arnold Pander has 25 years of experience in the creative arts and media. He provides pre-visualization and narrative consultation for film and commercial concept development. Pander also writes, produces, and directs commercials, film, and web media with his brother as one half of the media team the Pander Brothers.

In 1985 Arnold formed a illustration design and branding partnership with his sibling as the Pander Brothers, creating logos, illustration, and brand designs for Portland venues and apparel companies including NIKE. The creative duo were contracted as artists to illustrate the graphic novel, “Grendel: Devil’s Legacy” for Philadelphia based, Comico Comics. The runaway hit series led to a nomination for the prestigious Eisner Award and Manning Award for their groundbreaking work in the comics medium.

Since then Arnold has written and illustrated comics and graphic novels for with DC, Marvel, Image and Dark Horse Comics, creating original and franchise comics series. Most recently Arnold and his brother Jacob launched their digital publishing venture, PanderBrosComics.Com

Through out the 90’s, Arnold produced and art directed a range of music videos with Jacob’s film production company, Radius Pictures that aired on MTV. He co-wrote the music video concept for Deee Lite’s “Runaway” for Elektra Records and was production designer on Howie B’s DVD “music video movie” for Palm Pictures and John Mayer’s music video, “Who did you think I was?” directed by Gus Van Sant. Arnold expanded his role in film, Co-Producing the award winning short film, “The Operation”.

He soon focused attention on both film and comics, relocating to Los Angeles to develop the Pander Brothers’ many original graphic novel properties in Hollywood. Under the management of the Gotham Group, he co-wrote two live-action screenplays, a variety of speculative treatments for film, television and gaming and the comic book: “Batman: City of Light” for DC comicsnd developed relationships with executives at Disney, Warner Bros., and Fox Television. In 2005 Pander returned to Portland to co-write and produce the Pander Brothers’ debut feature film, “SELFLESS”. The identity theft thriller won Best Feature and Best Screenplay at the 2008 BendFilm Festival and was purchased by E1 Entertainment in 2009.

Arnold with his brother spent the better part of 2010 and 2011 directing and producing commercials, including Panasonic’s “New Dimension” campaign, for the Lumix digital camera and directed a long form 3D commercial for LG as proprietary content for the ‘Infinia’ 3D television. The brothers also created the 6 part webisodic series, “Tasty Bullet Conspiracy Exposed” as part of an ongoing promotion of Arnold’s newest graphic novel Tasty Bullet co Authored by Jonathan Vankin.
Arnold’s creative consultation and pre-visualization work has been used for INTEL proprietary technologies in their product test marketing, helping to develop marketing strategies for consumer based digital devices. He’s provided pre visualization, and creative development for advertising campaigns including, Brooks running “Run Happy” campaign and other brands such as: Coca Cola, Jack Daniels, Burger King, Nike 6.0, X Box, and more.

Pander has consulted for the new Innovation Center for Kraft Foods world Headquarters in Chicago Il., the new technology Center for J.C.I. technologies world Headquarters in Milwaukie WI., and the Auto Cad Digital showroom in San Francisco.
Arnold is currently living and working between Los Angeles and Portland, developing new entertainment content based on the Brothers’ wide range of comic book properties and original screenplays, while he continues his consultation and pre-visualization services for commercial, and entertainment media.
In his free time Arnold maintains his personal illustration and painting work and exhibits at Mark Woolley Gallery in Portland Oregon.
