Arnold Pander - Visual Artist / Filmmaker
Dutch-born visual artist, filmmaker, and storyteller Arnold Pander is a self-taught illustrator and painter whose career spans comics, fine art, film, and multimedia entertainment. Raised in Portland, Oregon, Arnold launched his professional career shortly after high school, collaborating with his brother as the acclaimed Pander Brothers.
Known for their innovative approach to graphic storytelling, the Pander Brothers earned critical acclaim and an Eisner Award nomination—the comic industry's highest honor—for their groundbreaking work on Grendel: Devil’s Legacy. Arnold has also written and illustrated projects for major publishers including DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, and Image Comics.
Beyond comics, Arnold's editorial and fashion illustrations have appeared in Details and Paper magazines, as well as on album packaging for Warner Bros. Records. His paintings have been exhibited internationally in Amsterdam, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Portland.
Arnold's visual art has also appeared in film and television, including an on-camera role as a fashion illustrator on the CBS series America’s Next Top Model. Most recently, his oil paintings were featured in Season 3 of the HBO hit series Euphoria.
In addition to his visual arts career, Arnold is an award-winning filmmaker, producer, and director. Through his production company, Collaborator Studios, he develops original films, music videos brand content, and cross-media entertainment projects that blend cinematic storytelling and emerging media experiences across multiple platforms.
