In Future LA, after a biological weapon goes off in Downtown LA, urban “Flash Tribes” tribes form to rebuild their communities while surviving in the mutant filled streets of South Central. A young tribal leader named Marne is framed for a domestic terror plot and become a target of a corrupt black network within the LAPD. To avoid persecution and fight back, Marne must use a rare drug that gives her body the ability to operate on a high-speed frequency where real-time nearly slows to a stop. Marne’s temporary accelerated state gives her unrestricted access to the unfolding conspiracy behind the black network’s plan to eliminate the tribes and create a new urban order. Soon Marne and her tribe of body modifies misfits enlist the aid a secret flash tribe society living in a permanent accelerated state to take down the Black Network and liberate their city.
